Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of pdotuitionservices.com (the "Website") and the tuition services provided by Potendeo Education LLP (LLPIN: ACQ-9009), operating as PDO Tuition Services ("PDO", "we", "us"), with its office at Near Shiv Mandir, New Nagar, Dipatoli, Ranchi, 834009, Jharkhand, India. By registering, booking a demo class, making a payment or using the Website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who can use our services

Students under 18 must be registered by a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on the student's behalf and is responsible for fee payment. By registering a student, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian, or are authorised by them. Adult students (18 and over) may register themselves and accept these Terms on their own behalf.

2. Our services

PDO provides personalised one-to-one and small-batch tuition for school classes, boards, competitive exams and international curricula. Where offered, we also arrange classes in other subjects and activities, such as music, dance, art and craft, drama, coding and robotics, yoga and fitness. This includes live online classes for students in India and abroad, and in-person or home classes in selected Indian cities. We match students with tutors or instructors, provide a learning plan, and share progress updates with students and parents. Availability depends on tutor and student schedules.

3. Free demo class

We offer a free demo class so the student and tutor can check compatibility. A demo class creates no obligation to enrol.

4. Fees and payment

• The fee for each student is agreed in writing (WhatsApp, email or invoice) before enrolment. Fees published on the Website are indicative.
• Fees are payable in advance for the billing period or package agreed with you, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
• Students in India pay in INR. Students outside India pay by bank transfer or payment link, in the currency shown on the invoice.
• Charges levied by the payer's own bank or payment provider are borne by the payer.
• Applicable taxes, if any, are shown on the invoice. Any taxes or duties imposed in the payer's own country are the payer's responsibility.
• We may change fees for future periods by giving at least 15 days' written notice. Fees already paid are not affected.
• Please pay only through the payment methods shown on our invoices. We are not responsible for payments made directly to any tutor or third party.

5. Scheduling, attendance and rescheduling

Classes run at the times agreed with you. Rescheduling, missed classes and cancellations are covered in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

6. Online classes and recordings

• Online classes are held on video platforms such as Zoom or Google Meet. You are responsible for a working device and a stable internet connection.
• For younger students, we recommend that an adult is available nearby.
• Classes may be recorded for quality assurance, student safety, revision and resolving disputes. By enrolling, the parent or guardian consents to this. Recordings are accessible only to PDO and, on request, to the student's parent or guardian. We do not publish recordings without separate written consent.
• Students and parents must not record, copy, share or publish classes, recordings or study materials without our written permission.

7. Home and in-person classes

For home or in-person classes, the parent or guardian must provide a safe, suitable place for the lessons and, for younger students, ensure that an adult is present. Please report any concern about a tutor or instructor to us immediately.

For physical activity classes such as yoga, fitness and sports, participants are responsible for checking that the activity is suitable for their health. Please consult a doctor if you have any medical condition, and tell your instructor before the class.

8. Tutors

Tutors are assigned by PDO based on the student's requirements. If the student is not comfortable with the tutor, we will arrange a replacement on request. Tutors teach under PDO's arrangement and are not authorised to collect fees or agree separate terms on PDO's behalf.

9. No guarantee of results

We work to help students improve, but we do not guarantee any particular marks, rank, score or admission. Results depend on many factors, including the student's own effort. Success stories and testimonials on the Website reflect individual experiences.

10. Conduct and suspension

Students, parents and tutors must behave respectfully. We may suspend or end services in case of abusive or unsafe behaviour, non-payment, sharing of class access or unauthorised recording. Unused prepaid sessions are then handled under the Refund and Cancellation Policy, except in cases of serious misconduct.

11. Intellectual property

Worksheets, notes, tests, recordings and Website content are owned by PDO or its licensors. You may use them only for the student's personal, non-commercial learning.

12. Use of the Website

You must not misuse the Website, including by attempting unauthorised access, scraping content, introducing malware or posting unlawful content. The Website may link to third-party sites, which we do not control.

13. Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

14. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, PDO is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for interruptions caused by internet, device or power failures or events beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the services in the month in which the claim arose.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. We will first try to resolve any dispute through good-faith discussion. If that fails, the courts at Ranchi, Jharkhand will have exclusive jurisdiction.
